Driven by an integrative approach to therapy, together we will create goals specific to the areas that you would like to address. Various concerns may range from feelings of unhappiness, negative patterns in relationships at home and at work, navigating through stress or anxiety, traumatic experiences and crisis situations, navigating life transitions, and disruptive habits and thinking patterns.

Integrating psychotherapy and creative expression can provide an insightful, effective, and refreshing experience in therapy. Art therapy engages the mind, body, and spirit in ways that are distinct from verbal articulation alone. Art therapy can be integrated into therapy throughout the process or utilized as the main approach to healing.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, panic disorders, grief, and unresolved issues from your past. Bilateral Stimulation (BLS) is used to process troubling images, thoughts, memories, or emotions. BLS involves right to left eye movement and/or tactile stimulation, which repeatedly activates the opposite sides of the brain, releasing emotional experiences that are “trapped” in the nervous system. Resulting in the resolution of the targeted issues and a more peaceful state is achieved as the mind-body connection is repaired. EMDR therapy may be used within standard talk therapy, as an adjunctive therapy, or as a treatment all by itself.
